Ashbya Genome Database .

What's New in AGD 3

  • BMC Genomics paper

AGD release 3.0 is described in an article by Gattiker et al. (2007).

  • Upgrade to Ensembl 40

    Improved interface and data.

  • Gene Ontology annotation from SGD

A.gossypii gene report pages now contain GO terms associated with the corresponding orthologues from S.cerevisiae.

  • Comparative genomics

Comparative DNA and protein-level data is available, including synteny information in fungi.

  • Expression data

AGD now displays microarray expression data from A.gossypii and S.cerevisiae.

AGD, the Ashbya Genome Database

Ashbya gossypii AGD 3.0 is a genome/transcriptome database containing gene annotation and high-density oligonucleotide microarray expression data for protein-coding genes from Ashbya gossypii and the model organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It also provides access to comparative genomics data from those two fungi as well as Schizosaccharomyces pombe and Neurospora crassa.

The A. gossypii genome is described in Dietrich et al. (2004). If you use AGD, please cite Gattiker et al. (2007). For information about A. gossypii please contact Peter Philippsen.
